About Flower Designs by Marty LLC

Welcome to Flower Designs by Marty LLC.  I have always loved working with flowers and the beautiful colors created by God's hands.  I began designing flower arrangements at a young age designing for friends and family members as a hobby - learning important skills and techniques along the way through trial and error and professional classes.   Until December I worked outside of my home for serveral years and then God in his wisdom closed a door and opened another when the economy changed.  I seized this opportunity and now do what I love full time.

Our purpose is to create a positively inspired personal experience for each person who makes contact with us.  If you have a question, need a referral or would like to order flowers we will be here to help you.   Service here is charactarized with a commitment to listening, honesty, knowledgable information, quality products and fair value.

Flower Designs by Marty is locally owned and provides one to one service when you need flowers, planters, or gift baskets for anyday, encouragement, get well and special days like birthdays or anniversaries.   When you need to provide flowers for funeral and memorial services we will deliver free to local funeral homes.

Are you getting married?  We provide full design and set up services for weddings and corporate events.  Our services include rentals, stunning bouquets, centerpeices, favors, guest amenities and much more.  We have also developed a list of vendors if you would like recommendations.  Our weddings start at $450 and you have our commitment to help you stay within your budget.

We provide service and delivery to all areas within a 60 mile radius of Grand Rapids, Michigan to include the following major areas:

Grandville, Wyoming, Jenison, Kentwood, Grand Rapids, Cascade, Caledonia, Bryon Center, Alto, Middleville, Hastings, Hudsonville, Allendale, Zeeland, Dorr, and Georgetown.  We also provide out of state service via a network of professional florists.

Our wedding was at Ventura Pines Cottage on Lake Michigan in June and we could not have found a better florist to bring all or our decorations to together.  We were all out of state and this was a dream destination wedding for us.  Marty coordinated the rehearsal dinner with our wedding day which saved cost but also created a seamless elegance.  The peonies she used were so beautiful and we rented lanterns from her to use for our centers and beach side wedding.  Thank you again Marty! ~  Carrie and John M.  with Kathy M (Mother of Groom)   June 2010

Thank you for the wonderful wedding bouquet, the orchids and roses were gorgeous and the color was perfect.  I loved the bridesmaid flowers too, they were just the right size and the girls were very happy.  When my nephews bow tie did not show up with his tux you saved the day by making him a bow out of blue ribbon, that was so sweet.  Thanks again Marty!
